Why don't we just sign and trade Bibby (and the rights to Chill) for a big man, then get Wade in free agency. Okay, a long shot I know...

I'm voting for a new center. The Hawks were out rebounded against the Spurs: 27 to 52. Having an established center would allow our forwards to play D a little further out. This would allow them to grab the shots that bounce far off the basket. The Spurs were picking those up all night long. Also, Matt Bonner had 13 rebounds and Tim Duncan had 11. Our two centers had 7 and 5. Against Houston the Hawks had 40 rebounds, the Rockets had 57. Okay, I know they have Yao, but still. Dallas: 48 to 39 rebounds. I know that 3 games don't make a complete argument. Just wanted to point out that we were out rebounded in all 3 of these losses.

Hmm... some of this sounds familiar...

I don't think anyone gives IND enough credit. They have some tall players on that team. Getting to the basket will be difficult. So yea, I'm going with 4 and 2. Losses to CLE and IND.

It has been great to watch how the Hawks frustrate teams this year. Chris Bosh's technical foul in the Toronto game is a great example.

I can't wait for the season to start, period. I agree that the competition within the team is going to be great. This is Marvin's year to prove himself, and I think he will.

I think most people would make the move to the NBA, even if there was a cut in pay. I know that I would.

I can't wait for next season. These young guys now have a taste of what it takes to make it in the playoffs... and they are hungry. Let the smack down begin. All the other junk with the ownership, the coach, GM, center, etc; will be taken care of. Its not like we can do anything about it. Although, it is fun to discuss and speculate.

Yea dude, traded to SacTown for Bibby. It was the only part of the trade that had me scratching my head a little. Don't get me wrong, I like having Bibbon the team.

Woods is always a good bet these days. I didn't get to see any of the Par 3 on TV this year. It is deffantly fun to watch live if you ever have a chance. There's lots of clowning around and great views over some of the holes.

is right... 1) I worry that we won't get the Center we need in the off-season. 2) I worry that Woodson will return next year. I'd don't think he's as terrible as some make him out to be, but I'd like to see what a differant coach can do with this team. 3) I worry that I check Hawksquawk too often at work...

I agree with both of you. He is much happier and his game has improved. Bibby made the whole team better. His impact on Joe has been the greatest. A little off topic, but I'd love to see the Hawks pick up a good SG who can sub for Joe next year. A Center should still be our top priority though.
