  1. Turnovers Smurnovers. The assists will always double the turnovers.
  2. In other news, it's Girl Scout Cookies season, so they're posted up everywhere, like 90s rapper selling mistakes out of his car.
  3. My bad y'all. I put a 40 spot on the Hawks in a parlay to cover the -7.5 ( hitting chest ) My bad.
  4. Speaking of Bud, why hasn't a coach that won a championship recently, not been hired by anyone?
  5. 1) 15 - 12 in the last 27 2) 8th seed play-in . . . that way it's win and you're in. Not win 2 games and you're in. Right now, we're on a collision course to play Chicago, either in ATL or in the CHI for the 9 vs 10 game. Quin needs to prepare for that. Especially if DeRozan brings this lady to the play-in game if it's in Chicago. 3) Yes. You play to win the game. As disappointing as last year was, I'll always will want to experience playoff moments like this Other questions 1) OO better stay in the starting lineup. But Quin is so stubborn that he may revert right back to Clint. 2) No reason why Kobe shouldn't be getting spot minutes. Hell, Quin gave spot minutes to Forrest for about a week or two. Giving him 10 - 12 minutes a game will be good for his development. 3) AJ should spend the rest of the time in the G-League. Call him up after their season is over. 4) ( Jim Mora voice ) - Rotation? Rotation? You're talking about . . Rotation? He'll just be lucky just to get in a game. 5) Yes . . . I hope. Either get us an extra wing defender or another LEGIT big, to add to the team. Will Barton is probably the highest quality guy still available, that hasn't been signed to a team. But he's a small wing 6-5 that can be at least an average defender. Will was a starter in Denver as late as 2022. The current available bigs list is ugly, ranging from Big Frank to Demond Dedmond to Wiley Cauley-Stein 6) Forrest is not vital to this team. Either let him finish out the year in the G-League, or just let him go. I'd stick him in the G-League, just so that he can keep getting playing time for possibly another team to pick him up next season.
  6. Kind of crazy that Trae is about to become our 3 point AND assist leader after only 6 years with the team. That also speaks toward guys not staying with the team long term. 7 years seems to be the max for most of our top players, especially after Nique.
  7. The coach may not have "it" either.
  8. Kind of a click bait video, with the amount of time that they DIDN'T talk about Trae, but they did talk a little about it. First starts around 1:21:35 They got distracted a little bit, talking about the media and women sleeping in cars at All-Star weekend . . . but they pick back up the talk at 1:28:32 The finally talk about Lakers or Spurs for Trae at 1:33:50 Nothing real new. Just always interested to hear Gil's perspective.
  9. Put a percentage on the influence you think Trae has on GM decision making on players and coaches < 10% 10% - 20% 20% - 30% 30% - 40% 40% - 50% 50% - 60% 60% - 70% 70% - 80% 80% - 90% > 90%
  10. Well then don't expect this team to rapidly improve. The Hawks need to get out of the mindset that all of our young players are going to develop into something special. You don't trade them for mid level talent. You trade them for star talent.
  11. When he tossed it off the backboard and got hung by the front rim, it was hilarious.
  12. That will be the true indication that we're SERIOUS about putting as high of a quality team around Trae as possible. Yes, I'd rather created a "Big 3" featuring Trae - JJ - KAT. But if I have to give up JJ to get KAT, so be it. With Minnesota re-signing Conley to 2 yrs / 21 million, that's an indication to me that they're not worried one bit about the 2nd apron . . as of right now. They want to at least assure that Conley is a part of the team going into next year, with or without KAT.
  13. KAT being #7 all time in true shooting %, shows just how underrated that guy is. If the T-Wolves blink this summer concerning the Luxury Tax, ATL better snatch him up. And us coveting Jalen Johnson CANNOT be the reason why we don't make a deal for him.
  14. What are the 3 - 5 things that makes Quin's job the hardest job ever?
  15. They need to switch the order of the slam dunk and 3 point contest. The shootout is the highlight of Saturday night.
  16. So this is what Mac McClung was talking about. The dunk you have to watch in slow motion to see it.
  17. He's not going to willingly leave Minnesota. And I personally think they'll retain him if they make a deep playoff run. We'll see if their ownership is afraid to pay that 2nd level luxury tax. If they blink, Landry better be right there to make a deal.
  18. Good showing by Trae tonight. He missed all 5 Starry balls for 3 points. That's the 30 foot shot he's comfortable taking, but couldn't get 1 to fall. Definitely needed that last money ball to fall as well. Would've been nice to see a shoot out between he and Dame.
  19. Keep putting the pressure on them Trae. Matter of fact, I need a 30 round here. Make those 2 Starry balls for 3 points each.
  20. Trae needs to become KAT's best friend in these next 24 hours. This is a recruiting trip sir. And Trae is sitting right next to him. Good job.
