  1. DeJohnTrae since that looks to be the big 3
  2. Why'd he drop so low again? Not saying this performance is the norm for him, just curious.
  3. Thats a good point. It's weird to title it about his fights and majority of the video be about hypotheticals though lol.
  4. This whole video could be a yoga workout the way it stretches everything.
  5. Not gonna lie, KD kinda scares me now. What's to say he wouldn't jump ship again?
  6. The hardest road my ass. GSW winning must have reaally cut him deep.
  7. Dejounte averaged 8 rebounds as a guard, thats extremely impressive and makes up for Dre's lack of rebounding. JC and Clint are elite rebounders for their position so on that front we're golden. Dre Dejounte and Clint are all defensive minded, JC isn't at their level, but he's no slouch and solid as a help defender. He might even get better since he won't have to worry about protecting both Trae and Huerter at the same time. OO off the bench is also physical, I'm not too worried.
  8. You're gonna love Murray then.
  9. Kinda stiff on the perimeter, not super athletic, raw.
  10. Because no-one wanted to jeopardize their free agency window because they were convinced the Hawks would match if they offered him one. If you give a restricted free agent an offer sheet and they sign it, your capspace is now locked into that player until the team that has their bird-rights opts to match. The thing is, the team with the bird-rights has no incentive to immediately match, their more likely to use their remaining cap-space on other free-agents and then go over the cap to retain a max level talent close to the deadline. Because of this, a team has to have extreme confidence that a restricted free agent they are targeting is not likely to be resigned by their team similar to the Bogi and Lonzo Ball situations and what now looks like the Ayton situation. Imagine tying in your capspace to a max level player and then finding out their original team matched the offer right before the deadline, you essentially wasted your free-agency.
  11. Probably gonna be a JC situation where all the teams didn't bother giving him an offer because they were convinced the Hawks were gonna match.
  12. Hunter's only question mark is health. If he is healthy I'm confident he'll average around 18ppg next season easy. This offseason is key, if he comes back with a reliable handle and a fade-away J(his release point is so high that it would be almost impossible to block) I can see the team running all the actions they had for Gallo for him.
  13. If you look how well Jaylen Brown is playing, a big part of it is how well he plays off Tatum and attacks the holes in the GSW defense that is scrambling because their committing to Tatum so hard. You need a slasher who likes getting into the paint. No-one on this team can do that consistently. The 2 memorable times this has happened for us was game 7 Kevin and Deandre in our elimination loss.
  14. Luka's numbers will look good, but because he plays at a slow pace his teams won't score a ton. If the opposition can take 2-3 shot attempts in the time it takes for you to take one, your margin for error on offense and defense is slim.
  15. Kinda banking on OO coming back with a reliable jumper.
  16. I'm okay with standing pat unless a star is available. Trae is special, OO looks like he will be special, Dre and JC have potential to be special but are lacking in areas that prevent them from doing it.
  17. I don't mind standing pat. I want to see Hunter after fully recovering, its's obvious his bounce and burst aren't back yet and it's holding him back on his drives; I want to see OO with an offseason of improvements, and I want to see if JC has another level of growth he can get to. JJ and Sharife are icing on the cake for me.
  18. Today is wild. Wonder what the Hawks expectations are now. The top teams have been shifted a bit with Philly and Brooklyn establishing their hold with the most high end talent. We need to draft another star or make a trade down the line. Trae ain't cutting it by himself.
  19. Legler is the best guy at ESPN hands down. I thought he would be a controversial hot take type because I've been geared to think that way, but I love his analysis and lack of bias or need to be right. He just calls it like he sees it.
  20. Rocking dress shoes and high socks with the rest of his outfit already shows bad decision making.
  21. Nailbiter for sure. Praying for JC
  22. Yeah, but when money gets involved you want a level of production or play on a consistent basis. JC isn't paid like a second best player so people who consistently get mad at him when does bad probably don't want him on the team anyway. I agree that currently it's by committee, but I'd prefer someone you can always count on though.
  23. We need consistent high level scoring from the wing, specifically at getting downhill. Dre is the best fit to be the second best player, he just needs to get his bounce back and tighten that handle. Next season I expect another jump. JC does alot of things well that most players don't do, but he's bad at the things needed to be a second star. I think he can still improve, but I've always thought he was best as a 3rd guy and he was paid as one.
  24. He's solidified himself as my favorite player on the team. It's a tie between him, Trae, Dre, Kev and JC...
