    I heard we traded Ridder for something and now we have a tampering charge because Cousins maybe isn't that smart at press conferences?

    Arthur is at least smart enough to not be wasting time anymore. It may backfire but as you said we have a lot of talent at key positions. Have to go out and get the best QB available to win now.

    It's easy to see why we did it though. Arthur Blank isn't getting any younger. I'm sure he said 'get me the best QB that's available to us right now' and they did.

    Well we only have him for 4 years. Still though this is a big upgrade from what we've seen the last few years. A big, expensive, risky upgrade.

    Monty Williams sucks now. Willie Green sucked last year but improved this year. Taylor Jenkins sucks now. Pop has been sucky for a long time now. Nick Nurse has looked really bad the last few weeks. If only we had Chris Finch or Joe Manzulla. Those guys are all time great coaches.

    Missed the game. I assume Trae came back based on the number of points we gave up? My fear for next season is we're going to rely on Bufkin, Gueye or even AJ for our rotation and it'll be another development year. I love those guys but just like with JJ there's a difference between being a really promising player and a starter on a contender. it takes a couple years to get there.

    My issue is just that when Siakam didn't pan out we needed a PF backup of some kind. Didn't have to be anything great but just a vet who knows what they are doing. I mean Dario Saric signed with the Warriors for $2m. Maybe we tried i don't know.

    We need a backup PF more than a Center. Morris could do that but i low key hate the guy.

    This shows the kind of team we could have been not only with Jalen but if we had actually started the season with a backup PF on the roster.

    Edwards is being 'considered'. Good lord. they run this program dumbly.

    Marcus Morris, Muscala, Metu, Joe Harris is also out there but not exactly a big.

    Well he's a nice guy. Good for him. I"m not surprised. Seems like we would try to improve the team but i guess they have a plan

    You only get star treatment if you're on certain teams. That's the whole point to me.

    You don't think the marquee teams get better calls? That's the NBA's whole strategy.

    Gueye has been hurt since October. So looks like we won't see him much for the Hawks until 2026

    What's derailed about it though? Isn't the question whether or not we're getting better whistles because Trae's not on the floor? I'd say i haven't noticed much difference other than the obvious that Trae isn't there.
