Hawks were never going to EFC this year folks. No need to get all bent. This team is in shambles right now. The rest of this season is preseason and learning what you have and what needs to go and come in. Who is my #1 and #2? I would think this is Quinn's thoughts. This team is not ECF bound 

Murray is out there giving his all playing both sides like a true leader. He's on 99 2k mode

Can two ball dominant point guards win a title? Are there any in history who has done it?

@Packfill players missing/injured is part of the game. You play whats in front of you. These are all professionals who are lightyears greater than the local guys at lifetime fitness and much better than 99% of college hoopers and gleague lifers. 

The wiz aren't winning a ring this year either with or without Porzingis

Trae and Murray played like crap on top of Beal having his best game of the season. I'll go over with Trae and Murray against Beal in a 7 game series 

@TheNorthCydeRises ah dont get all bent and out of shape on this loss. This team is not going to the finals this year. We know they're not good enough right now. The ring is the only thing that matters, lets not celebrate getting the #5th or 6th seed. 

Good loss. No harm. Trae had two good looks but I love it ended in his hands. He's our closer and he'll make those in the future in the playoffs. Grear hustle tonight all around.

But great man, we made the playoffs in a weak conference. We won our play in game and made the 1st round. 3 coaches. Turnover in GMs. Dont know if the owner is even here. Maybe his son is calling shots now. Great stability here guy.

@bleachkit coaches also want to be in the best position to win. Thats why in college they get on jets and spend hrs in cities with nothing but sticks and trees trying to recruit the talent that best fits their vision. 

You have to have a vision when coaching. You dont just plop players down and tell him, here coach what you have. Coach Bud left because he had a vision. You see the results

@MarylandHawk no, Im just tired of this franchise being a disaster. Landry is a friggin robot GM, who hasn't done anything and why is Korver assistant? What exactly does he do? Little boy Ressler runs the team and knows absolutely nothing about basketball. We'll see what this team does under a new coach though. 

Trae is such an immature douchebag. Wish they'd send him home or LA with is daddy. Landry sounds like the most boring GM to ever fit the shoes of a GM

@akay Yeah Trae is mentioned alongside HoFers but so is Ben Simmons. His first 4 years he's avg a double double in rebs and assists. Next to Magic...

I honestly believe there are a list of things the league didn't like about Trae that got around.

Whoever the GM is need to sit down with Ime let him choose the type of players best fit his style. Team would need an overhaul imo. Collins, Trae, CC doesn't fit. They aren't scrap dogs. But as @Sothron said we have to build around Trae which means you need elite everything at each position. Kinda like having a Matt Ryan

@Diesel nah dude SGA is good amd surround him with ballers and a coach he's unstoppable. This isn't a hate Trae thing its just this team imo has reached its peak with Trae. You cannot win a ring with him as your #1. Hard pill for you to swallow I know but its true. You cannot beat the Celtics, Heat, or Bucks in a 7 game series when defense is at an all time high trying to hide Trae at the bottom on defense. 

A team will gameplan for the Hawks in playoffs and maybe not shut him completely down, but limit his favorite tendencies. Can imagine a backcourt of SGA and Scoot with Boston and Sexton off the bench? Its two starting lineups 

Send Trae back home dudes. Free him and lets get SGA. Hunter, Murray and JC are not it. If we could get SCOOT and SGA as a backcourt with OO we're headed in right direction. Bring Colin Sexton home and BJ Boston home. These are guys who are walking buckets who can start and come off the bench. They'd be immediate scoring off the bench if need be. 

Thats my NBA 2K mindset though, I know.

Trae can't shoot anymore and Murray's impact just doesnt match his stats. Which is why SA had no problem shipping him off.

Luka is better than Tre at basically everything besides ft shooting. 

Schlenk should never get another job for botching that pick.

I mean, was he ever really a sniper? Cmon, his 30 footers were more bricks than makes his whole career. Trae is a lob/layup,/free throw guy. He is what he is. And you're stuck with him. A shoot first, non all star pg who is a mediocre shooter. Even if he made the all star he'd be a role player. Even if he made the Olympic team, he'd be just a cheerleader sitting next to coaches. Only Atlanta smh

I like AJ, JJ, and OO but they arent getting us a star..Id like to keep those 3 if possible..Developing nicely..

 

All three are going to be nice in two years when some of the veterans air out and the younger talent come in. You see the Brookyln kid is ballin

Yes thank you Jeff, I’ve been at it 40 years I can decipher the diff of being a stan vs objective. Gimme more concrete negative objective content to Trae and I will, for now it’s a bunch of non Trae fans pushing the wagon. I don’t know if Shakes has Trae jerseys it could be all Mav Doncic jerseys and he’s Texaschick’s best friend for I know. I just feel the players are more tied into the behind the scenes stuff than atlanta fans. Those guys talk, play video games together online...For him to be last its deeper than that one game. He's not liked and you have to look at Trae
