Biedrins and Monta Ellis

I watched these guys play against SA last night and both of them did good specially Biedrins and his defense on Tim Duncan and He also had 8 points and 9 reb on 4-4 shooting.

GS will consider this trade for playoff push.

Interestingly enough, Monta Ellis was the guy we were projected to draft with our 2nd round pick this past draft by I believe NBAdraft.net- the pick we ended up using on Salim. I was just looking at that the other night, their mock for the 2005 draft.

He is a skinny little thing, but man he can shoot- and once he fills out he's got a chance to be a player. With Salim and Monta, I believe we'd have two of the best pure shooters in the NBA.

They can start Al and move Dunlevy to the bench where I think he belongs and they could go deep in the playoffs with AL starting and Dunlevy coming of the bench.

Their GM allready said he wants to make a move. I think they are desperate for going to playoffs

They just resigned Dunleavy to a big contract, so obviously they are committed to him. They have Diogu and Murphy at the 4. I don't see Al fitting there.

Someone Mentioned during the draft last year that Billy Knight wanted to get Ellis and was trying to work out a deal to get another 2ndrounder to get him but he was too late. Golden State picked him before Knight could make his move. I also saw on Inside Stuff a month ago where they were showing a clip from GS training camp. Monta Ellis is lightning quick with the ball in his hand. He will be a baller once he puts on some muscle.

But, this year Dunleavy is only averaging 10.5ppg 4.8 reb 23% from 3s in 32min and he started every game for them.I think they would move him to bench.

Yeah, I remember that.

Keep in mind that he had already played there for 4 years. They know his game. If they didn't believe in him they wouldn't have resigned him.

Plus they would be giving up Biedrins, who they need and like, for a player they couldn't afford to resign.

How about Murphy in ATL. Is he a 4?

Yes. But his D isn't much better than Al's and he is a base year player.

If not that then:

Al for Collison, Petro, Potapenko...

Then we follow up with a trade of Chill.

We can't have playing time for Marvin if we have Sweetney and Chillz. I think Sweetney would make an interesting PF. But this puts Marvin in a place to either fly or fall. This is what we must do.

Troy Murphy plays no defense. and is a tweener too...

But if GS gives us their number 1, I would take this deal and Murphy's bloated contract.

According to CBS he's a PF...6'11" 245. I thought he had a slight injury bug, too.
