Premium Member Diesel Posted July 11, 2006 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 11, 2006 Splits check out his splits especially what he was able to do in april with more time. For a guy straight out of HS, that's not bad. Probably progress faster than Livingston did.

I don't think Golden State will let him go though. He's probably a lock for their future like Livingston.
SmittyandGaylock
Man those are some good #s. Is he a pure PG and have the ball handling skills or is he an undersized hybrid?
Vafan
Check out Marvin Williams split. FYI. Williams is actually younger than Ellis. Williams split

Premium Member Diesel Posted July 12, 2006 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 12, 2006 He's definitely an OG... I figure you get him up to 205, let him train with Speedy Claxton to learn how to drive effectively... and with JJ as his back court mate, he'd be a very good counter. Blunt91
Sounds like another Stephon Marbury without the cocky attitude.

Premium Member Diesel Posted July 12, 2006 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 12, 2006 I don't see much with the way that Marbury plays except the attitude. I don't think Monta would be as good as Marbury, but the guy has the potential to be a scoring machine at the OG position.
