I just stopped watching the game with like 3 minutes left. Where's all the highlights? I don't know about you but this game about lulled me to sleep. Just horrible, horrible basketball.

Missing layups, not boxing out, out of position, playing without fire or focus, shooting without confidence, just trying to get the game over. That's what our players are doing. Yes, at this point, Josh Smith or no Josh Smith, we need a new coach. Woody just sitting over there with his chin in has hand.

-Marvin shooting the ball like he's just pushing it up there, like he doesnt expect it to go in. Missed a couple and then decides late in the game to just pass up a WIIIDDDEEE OPEN three point shot. That tells me no confidence in his shot, and he's supposed to be a scorer.

-Our youth is killing us. We are out of position so many times it's pathetic.

-Solomon played well although he too played out of position and with bad spacing it seemed. But still played well. Seemed to get more playing time also.

-ZaZa flails everytime he turns the ball over. Even if he just dropped the ball, he flails his arms like he was fouled. I hope no little old ladies are near by when he drops his keys or something.

-Childress missed a bunch of layups tonight. Although he did seem to try to take the team on his shoulders a couple times but wasnt able to do so. But he got blocked badly. Needs to pass off sometimes on those drives.

-Joe is tired. Either that or he's given up.

-This is repetitive I know, but our offense is just plain pathetic. There is no movement or diversity. With a major lack in the latter. It's like middle of the 4th quarter and we had 49 points. Unreal. Dennis Rodman, Charles Oakley, and Manute Bol look like Harlem Globetrotters compared to us offensively. If you're Woody, do you not look outside for help to give you a chance to not loose your job? Go get an offensive specialist assistant? Something, anything....

-It's like you're watching tv, and you want to walk through it, walk on the floor and scream at every one of these players to get their [censored] together and play like they give a damn.

-Dijon Thompson got no plays called for him. WE'VE GOT NOTHING TO LOSE, RUN HIM A PLAY! i mean it can't be worse than what we've got already. it just can't.

-I think our main defensive strategy is just lulling them to sleep.

-How come our bigs go so far out to help on a pick and roll screen and still can't prevent the guard from driving? Isnt that the whole point defensively of going out to help your own guard? ZaZa is king of this. Hey ZaZa, if you can't stop the guard anyway when you go out, then don't go out so far and at least block your own man. And dammit, stop flailing so much.

Ok, I've vented enough. No one is yelling on our team. Not the coach, not any players on the team, noboby. I hate Bobby Knight and I would love for him to be on our bench just as our mascot yeller.

Billy, please make the trade and get Brendan Haywood here. He's not great but he's physical defensively.

What needs to be fixed before anything else is the lack of energy. I've said this before, but whoever puts in the most effort needs to be getting the minutes.

SOLOMON JONES IS NOT GETTING ENOUGH MINUTES. Childress should be starting and playing 40 minutes with Josh S out. Lo doesn't need to be seeing the floor much. In fact, Lo should use Zaza as a punching bag to toughen him up some.

Joe J. had the flu tonight and put in a good effort. He had an IV before the game in fact. Lue is still hurting, we need his stability back in the worst way. Josh had a back hernia? Speeedy is always hurt?? We sign Slava and then find out he is having back and cardiovascular problems??? When does the madness end?

We all have a right to vent. This is as pathetic a effort as we have witnessed all season. Injuries and sickness not withstanding, there is no excuse for lack of effort on the part of our healthy players. No excuse at all.

lmao I was saying that to my friends the other night. Bobby Knight wouldn't let our team walk around and sulk like that. I do agree that we need a hard-ass coach.

About the 49 in the middle of the 4th, I know that was SO sad. I couldn't even watch the end of the game. I did see the very end though and I liked Dijon's energy. I guess we miss Harrington's offense a lot more than we thought.

I understand and share your anger. I am embarrassed. It seems that Woody is still surprised that he has a job. I'd start benching folks. I'd rest Joe and Lue because nither is 100% and playing them while we are giving this kind of effort is just going to get them hurt even more. But this would be my rotation.

Speedy/Ivey

Thompson/ Ivey

Chillz/ Marvin

Shelden/ Este (or a hungry 10 day contract guy)

Solomon/Zaza

We would lose, but maybe...just maybe...we would start playing like our players' jobs depended on their effort and production. Just maybe.

I really think that Brenden Haywood is not the answer. We need to make wholesale changes to the coaching staff. We need to get a coach that will truly say "if you don't hustle you are not going to play." We are cursed by complancency. I wish we could be like those pre-Grant Hill/T-Mac/Dwight Howard Magic teams (with Ben Wallace and Darrell Armstrong). That team did not have much talent. But they played hard. They dove for loose balls. They challanged shots. They may go 0-16 in the 4th quarter, but they kept blocking out. You know what? Watching us against Indy felt like watching the most recent Falcons Panthers game. No effort, just an acceptance of imminent failure.

of our recent horrible play. As I and others that were at the Clips game mentioned not to read too much into the win Saturday because it was more of what the Clips didn't do versus what we did to win that game. Last night's loss was from a lack of effort and from no offensive identity whatsoever. At least in the past we gave good effort. Yes individual players did fail last night (Danny Granger had far more of a positive impact on the game than the more hyped MW), but it appears to me this team has tuned Woodson out. As we sit today, I see no light at the end of the tunnel.

People on this website killed me when I mentioned his name three years ago. Bobby Sura was a player we had WHO ALWAYS PLAYED WITH INTENSITY that we let get away. I would love to have him now!

Bob Sura and Stephen Jackson cost the Hawks Dwight Howard. It wasn't the time for intensity.

...because I don't want anynoe to cost us the best shot at Oden, a franchise player and center, a franchise player, or another franchise center.

Perhaps.

If the Hawks continue to play this poorly, Lue should be traded to a contender for a late 1st.

They need a center and Pg. If not simply Lue and Batista for a lottery protected pick then Lue and ZaZa for Kristic (injured) or Williams and a top 8 protected pick.

I can't believe I just traded my favorite Hawk in Batista. Oh the shame.
