Diesel's trade of the day...Getting Battier.

My first inclination is this:

To get Battier, it would take Theo.

However, for those faint of heart, I will save my Theo Scenerio for Later and explain why..

Diesel's first trade for Battier:

Nazr/Toni/Dickerson to Miami.

Jones/Gatling/1st from Atlanta to Memphis

Battier/Lo/Long to Atlanta.

The good with this trade:

Miami could use help at C. They could also use Toni as veteran help. Dickerson is cheaper than Jones.

Memphis likes Jones. They also would like the first that we have to give. They will not have a first and our first could be very rewarding to their rebuilding.

We want Battier. And Lo would be a good backup.

Trade #2:

Theo/1st for Battier/Lo

I see Battier as being an allaround better NEWBLE with more offensive skills.

Only problem with ur trade is that PAT RILEY doesnt like no-defense type players (Kukoc). He likes defensive minded or athletic players (which is not kukoc).

But Memphis sure loves JONES, and im guessing they're working rite now on a plan to get him.

your second trade option seems more realistic.

imo- Wright is a bigger poormans ABDUR-RAHIM.
