Any big updates from the PS2 version? I heard some rumor a while back about downloadable songs...

On another note, I just got GH1 and a second guitar (a wireless one) so I can rock out with guests now

All the graphics have been redone, so everything is in HD. Not a big change, but it helps. Audio is all 5.1 surround, which sounds great. I think there's like 50 something songs out of the box and yes, they are going to have downloadable songs via XBL. I think the first song pack is going to be available next week (the game came out yesterday) and will have a nice collection of tunes.

This is my first time ever playing the GH series and I love it. I'm pretty much dominating it at the current difficulty, so I'm going to have to up it a notch or two soon. It helps that I'm a pro gamer and have also been playing guitar for 15+ years though! :P
