KB21
http://times.hankooki.com/lpage/sports/200...17111111620.htm Looks like the 7-4 Korean will enter the 2003 NBA Draft. Should be interesting to see how high he could rise if he declares.
ATLien_
Why did the NBA decide to start accepting high school Jr's? I am really disapointed in them. It bad enough we got kids skipping college, but now they don't even have to finish high school.
KB21
I don't think they realize what they have done. The rule doesn't allow juniors to enter the draft per say, but instead of having to be 18 years of age by a certain date, you can enter if you turn 18 during the year of that particular draft. So, a guy turning 18 in December that is a junior could declare for the NBA draft now. I don't think the NBA realized this when they altered the rule to allow Darko Milicic and Sophocles Schortsianitis to enter the draft.
cyman3
*note- a person in Korea is a year older than that person would be if he/she lived in the US (did that make sense?)
heilero
*note- a person in Korea is a year older than that person would be if he/she lived in the US (did that make sense?) Several asian cultures consider a person to be in there first year of life when born, thus they are 1 at birth and 2 on there first birthday. I'm not sure if Korea uses this reference, but it could explain the note.
