Kenny Anderson

Ricky Davis

Dog

Shareef

Theo

We can also use the 21st [censored] long with JT

Anybody have any idea's on how this could get done?

Davis makes about 5 million? The question is how to

we work something out that will bring Cleveland some

benefit?

Hmmm...not really what I would expect from you...

Nazr and Davis have comparable salaries (and value, in my opinion), but Davis is a BYC player. He was signed on August 19th of last year. I believe BYC status expires after one year. So, any trade Cleveland wanted to make involving him would have to wait until then.

I'm still curious, though, why is this the lineup you want?

We need a explosive swingman.Davis can be abit of

a exciting player and he can score. He wants to be

THE GUY..He wants to be famous so to speak. He

brings entergy to the team.Anderson can play the

point for a while and it gives Dan a few more years

to show if he can take over for Anderson in two years

or so...

We have almost nothing to lose...The seats are empty,

we are capped out for two more years,we have no PG,

JT might not hold a future here...So why not?

Despite the changes you mention I still don't see this team doing much even if they make the playoffs. At this point not much the Hawks can do except find a few more role players until 2005 when the Hawks must sign a few of the top players in the game. Davis and anderson would give the Hawks experienced players and creat some depth.

It is still hard to get excited about this team for another 2 years!

Nobody any good is going to sign here in 2005 or

whenever. Why would any of the top players in there

right mind sign with a team who hasn't been to the

playoffs since 98?

Based on the view no free agents will sign with Atlanta in 2005 and the fact the hawks can not draft worth a crap, plus most of the top players in the league were drafted high the Hawks have no chance in the next decade to be a championship team. They will eventually make the playoffs and be ousted year after year just like in the 90's and 80's. I hope the future is not this bad.

What a mean is that I doubt any of the TOP guys

will come here.I'm sure we could get a few decent

guys...But you need a guy to build around and I

don't see us getting that guy as a FA on 2005 when

we would be in our 8th year of losing.

Prediction: if the Hawks free up 49 million for 2005 one of the top players will bite and come to the Hawks.Ray allen,Iverson,Bryant are a few that may come.Of course not at once,I don't consider Ray allen a franchise but Iverson or Bryant may flee just to get out of a team they have played on and start a new chapter. The new chapter will be losing with the hawks which is difficult for a losing franchise t sign these free agents.

Looking at the Hawks they have had one dominant player in what over 20 years,Dominque Wilkins. This franchise sooner or later has to break that streak. A top GM is needed. The hawks have not had one since the days of Doc Rivers,Wilkins,Carr, Levingston and it is about time to change that. The Dallas Mavericks were perenial losers now look at them.

Why on earth would the hawks keep babcock so long? This team perils the Falcons in the fact it has had lousy general mangers know since a new owner look at the falcons.I hope the same can be done with the hawks!

OK. Say by some Luck, we were able to do a three way with a team like Denver.

Nazr to Denver, White to Cleveland, Davis to us. Denver has a lot of cap space so they can take the difference between white and Davis and get rid of BYC for us.

Then say we were able to sign Kenny Anderson 2 years 4 million.

Then say we drafted Marcus Moore or Mo Williams & Josh Howard.

Finally, say we took JT/CC and SNT him to Seattle for Barry/James.

We resigned Ira.

Our new lineup would be:

Theo/James

SAR/Hendu

Grob/Ira/Howard

Davis/Barry

Anderson/Moore/Dickau

It's hard to predict how good PG play and strong SG play will affect this team

That is a horrible lineup....an old washed up point guard and a selfish showboat. no thanks I wouldn't have Ricky Davis on my hoop it up team. That is real good ...Dog and Davis ...just imagine the ball movement...it wouldn't exist. Not to mention Ricky loves to run his mouth at officials and disappears routinely. Scored a lot on a bad team...I hear all of you talk about these type players...Davis is one of them.

Try again.

I want this lineup...make it happen Hawks!

Jt

Brent Barry

Ira

SAR

I'm glad a few people here have a clue about basketball.

Why would Cleveland want JT, they already have his clone (Wagner)

I totally agree Davis is a ball hog like Dog is. Reef would never touch the ball unless the pg fead him in the post personally, which is very predictable and easy to stop.

Davis would be wanting to run, run, run, while Anderson and Dog are huffing and puffing to trot.

Davis would also be a disaster if paired with JT b/c of his lack of defense and selfishness with the ball. It would make JT look bad b/c he would be passing to blackhole in Davis, Dog and Reef.

However, I would like to see Kenny Anderson play for the Hawks. He would be an excellent backup. The offense would not skip a beat with him in there.

I like Barry too.

Guy all this team needs is to make the playoffs between now and 2005 and FA will look at the Hawks. I hold my position that the Hawks are not far away. You have heard me preach about stability which causes chemistry. All they need is a back pf (Kenny Anderson) and a little luck in the draft at #21. Sure more is alwayse better but that is all the team need s to make a legitimate playoff run so a star FA will look our way in 2005.

When are you going to realize newble is not a

starter in the NBA?His"defense"this year was a

joke and he got toasted most of the time.

When you have JT and SAr as your only scorers

you are going nowhere. They aren't good enough

and you need to realize this fact. That team is no

better than what Reef had in Vancouver.

Brent Barry is aging himself and had a bad year

last year.

It'd be nice to have somebody that actually wanted

the ball instead of running away from it like Reef

and JT does.

You guys refuse to accept the fact that these two

guys aren't good enough to carry a good team. They

are both second or third options at best because they

run away from the ball.

Oh and while Davis is a bad defening SG...JT is the

worst defending PG in the NBA

I'll take Anderson/Davis over JT/Dion ANYDAY

JT couldn't run a middle school teams offense.

We can't really do much for two years. Why not take

the gamble?If it doesn't workout,we are rebuilding

in two years anyway..

Look at our situation...

No cap space

No fans

No lotto pick

No bench

No excitment

Why not take the gamble when we really can't do much

else til 2005?

They're is no reason we can't give it a shot.

Ricky Davis brings excitment.Sure he's ballhog,but he

can back his stuff up better than Dog can.
