Gray Mule
For Pau Gasol they get: Rights to Marc Gasol, Pau's 7'1" brother currently playing overseas. Center Brown Guard Critterdon 1st round picks in 2008 & 2010 For Stromile Swift, Nets give them center Jason Collins. They sure are moving a lot of guys. Those 1st round picks may be high, considering that the team they're coming from may now be down near the end of the draft. However, if they can get Marc Gasol and he's any good, who knows how this will work out. ???????????????????????????????
Lascar78
When you move for cap space, you're not looking to get even talent for what you traded out. You're hoping that the talent you get PLUS the guy(s) you can sign in free agency will be better than what you traded away. I'm not sure who Memphis will be able to get though. DrReality
Since Gasol is gone, I wonder if Navaro would be available. Don't know a lot about him, but sounds like he's a pretty good shooter.

Yubs
Quote: Josh Smith? I wondered about this. With Gasol gone, do they become players for the Josh Smith sweepstakes? A frontline of Gay and Smith could be something to see, albeit a little redundant.
DJlaysitup
Well any team that sits still (and is poor) is a target as far as offers go.

Well, if they wanted Smoove, it would make no sense for them to not come after him directly. If there was a standing offer, they could have gotten him and not have to worry about matching or if we would trade Smoove to somebody else in the meanwhile. Frankly, I'm suprised that Memphis didn't insist that Cardinal went with Gasol if salary dumping was the rationale. W
