Should We Take A Chance On Smush Parker

or Flip Murray if they are bought out as many are predicting? I think there are advantages to both guys. Smush is a little taller, a better 3 pt shooter, more of a PG and a better defender. He is also more of a problem child. On the other hand, Flip is better at creating his own shot off the dribble and he can be handfull when he gets it going. He can play PG but he is more of a combo guard than Smush. He is also not likely to be a problem child.

If I had a choice, I'd likely take a gamble on Smush but I would be okay with Murray too. I think we need some veteran insurance with Bibby and Acie hobbling.

Flip Murray. He showed once before that he could play at the NBA level and I'm not sure Smush has ever showed that.

When Ray Allen was out injured for a month or two, Murray averaged 20+. Couple of years ago.
