Sasquatch
Big body wit no heart in it. I know yall hate to hear it but it is true. I am watching this guy on offense. There are a number of times when he is open and in position to get a pass. This clown will literally move closer to a defender or move somewhere on the court to diminish any possible passing angle. He has all the talent but he needs to play like a man.
Admin
That is just ridiculous. Marvin came out playing extremely aggressive on D tonight and is trying to knock down his jumper and for you to call him gutless is just stupid. You have no idea what type of game on offense he has been instructed to play.
Sasquatch
He is definitely playing awesome D. But he is hiding on offense. That is gutless. Go cry in your pillow if you need to.
Admin
What a gutless drive to the basket by Marvin. So gutless of him to hide by driving right at the teeth of the Celtics D.
Admin
and another. Will someone take this gutless player out of the game please.
Admin
and then a gutless steal and a gutless jumpshot.

KB21
Yep. That gutless Marvin has 8 points on 2 of 4 shooting from the field, 4 of 4 from the line, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal at this point.

DChawk
I like the way Marvin started off getting to the line. hit 4 straight free throws and then of course his 1st jumper - which he's been missing consistently since the break - is a swish. he needs to work that strategy more often. It's such a ridiculous and extreme claim. Marvin's done plenty to deserve criticism lately, you shouldnt have to spew bullshit to make your point. Just stick to his factual shortcomings. If you do so, the pro-Marvin and anti-Marvin debate might actually have some value around here instead of resorting to lies and spin.
Admin
Good job getting Childress motivated. 3 straight possessions he comes down and plays Childress basketball. We really needed it too.

I've seen several spasms from the free throw line, but they're not as special. BTW, Woodson has done a good job of limiting the starter's minutes tonight. He should get some credit around here every once in a while.
Admin
We are going to need them to be as fresh as possible in the 4th. Maybe if JJ will stop auditioning for the cover of Tiger Beat with his cuteness we might actually get back in this thing.
Premium Member mrhonline Posted March 3, 2008 Premium Member Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 I'd like to see a Marvin/Childress wing combo.
