If that record is a tie I think it goes to who beat who the most head to head.
Moderators macdaddy Posted March 17, 2008 Moderators Report Share Posted March 17, 2008 TIEBREAKER BASIS: (-) Tie breaker not needed (better overall winning percentage) (1) Head-to-head (2) Conference Record (3) vs. Teams ultimately at-or-over .500 (4) Head-to-Head cumulative point differential (5) vCoin toss (tied teams listed alphabetically above) Right now we are not in the playoffs because NJ is beating us in head to head Playoff picture

JackB1
just wanted to remind all you doomsday squawkers......:) Ask yourself this. When the season started, if I told you we would have a 2 game lead for the last playoff spot with 4 games to play, would you take it? You bet your as* you would!! It is really a 1 game lead (we only make the playoffs if we are within 1 game of Indy the rest of the way) but I agree we are not in a doomsday scenario right now. This is a lot more fun than any close to a season I can remember for some time.

If we don't get in, think how boring the summer will be. No picks in the draft. The only things of interest would be just seeing how many heads will roll, who we get to replace them, how Acie and Mario and Solomon do in the summer league, and interminable contract negotiations. JackB1
Here's another encouraging point.....According to Hollinger, our odds of making the playoffs are currently 90.2% and Indy's are 9.8%. Which would you rather have?
