Premium Member Diesel Posted July 23, 2003 Premium Member Report Share Posted July 23, 2003 I heard that that's not all. ESPN put up the big names.... however, The deal I keep hearing is that we send: Grob to Philly. CC to Minn. We get Marc Jackson and Terrell Brandon from Minn. I haven't checked the trade checker... But it sounds like it should work? I guess we get Jackson and we place Nazr on IL...?? Or does this Mean that Theo is on his way somewhere else?? Dallas for Finley? HawkTodd
Yea you would think that there would be some other stuff, eather draft picks or other players, involved in a trade this big. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

KB21
Atlanta doesn't have to deal anyone else. The deal of Robinson for Brandon is straight up. Atlanta is getting back as much as they are giving up.

KB21
That seems to be the case. Robinson for Brandon is straight up. Van Horn for Sprewell is straight up. Brandon for Sprewell needs something. Van Horn for Robinson needs something. So, it does make sense for Minnesota to send Marc Jackson to Philly, who desperately needs a post presence to complete this deal.
