Well his stats appear to be a mirror image of what Shellhead gave us when he got a few minutes. Sund said we needed 2 big men and so far we only signed 1.

If there aren't any other bigger players available then Powell wouldn't be bad, but nothing to bank on.

All things being equal, I guess that Powell and Solo are about the same type of player, so I would stick with Solo as he knows the team and "system".

He's a little bigger than Solo...Powell is around 240 he's more of a buiser type with some athleticism similar to Wilcox.

They are different type of players. Solo is more of an athletic shot blocker. Powell is more of a bruiser. I think he could be a nice addition at very little cost.

Just an FYI, the Kings are going to have 18 players after the Artest trade.

My guess is that Bobby Jackson gets cut, as will at least one of Ewing, Jr. or Singletary.

There's also a chance that Shelden gets cut...
