JJFAN4LF
Orlando is playing Toronto this afternoon(actually playing right now) and they have a chance to lose. I actually think Toronto will win this game. If they do lose, that puts us 3.5 games back from Orlando. We have two games against Orlando coming up this week, if we win both. We'll only be 1.5. Let's be optimistic guys. Let's aim high and go for the division instead of settling for the 4th spot.

High5
I hope we sweep, but I will be happy with a split as long as we don't blow the game we lose.
DrReality
In a lot of ways our season so far has been a perfect storm. There have been some blunders, but when you consider the expectations before the season it's been darn near perfect.

Brotha2ThaNite
The Magics just loss to the Raptors which put them at 26-8. The have Wizards Tueday and then @ the Highlight Factory Wenesday. We have them two days later at their place. I hope the Hawks take advantage of this. It would make our games sweeter if they lose to the Wiz the night before they play us. Right now we are 3 1/2 behind them. We have a chance to pull within 1 1/2. Lets Go Hawks! Admin
Toronto won the game without Calderon and JO which just goes to prove that even a "great" team that can win on the road like Orlando can be beaten by a team missing 2 starters. Chris18
If we can take care of Orlando in both games it will be huge for our team.

Thanks for the merge Dolfan23. Sorry I did not check to see if there was a thread already made. Another good thing is that the Wiz beat the Cavs.
LOL_Hawks
IIRC, we seem to have Orlando's number. We match up extremely well with everybody but Howard, and we've acknowledged that by letting him get his but shutting down the rest of the team. If that happens, we should pick up some ground on them. This is a huge week for us if we can take advantage of that.
Gray Mule
Hawks, sitting quietly at home, gained one in the loss column today to the top two Eastern Conference leaders as Boston continues it's unexpected slide, while still holding firmly to the top position. Cleveland also lost as King James was called for a late travel. See, not everyone is perfect and neither is any NBA team. The Hawks are still a ways back in the loss column with 11. Still, that's not bad now. The top dogs have 6 losses each. This late in the season, only 5 losses seperates us from the top. GO HAWKS!!

BusBoyIsBack
Wed, Jan 7 Orlando 7:00 PM SportSouth HD Fri, Jan 9 @ Orlando 7:00 PM SportSouth HD The first game we play the Magic, we get to host them in what will be for them a 2nd game of a back to back. The 2nd game is in their house. If we sweep the series, we are right on their tails. If they sweep us, it's pretty much focus completely on getting the #4 seed. The 48 games after this series will be irrelevant if we don't make ground on them.
