I don't understand why people would want Lee. I agree that he's a very solid player who is an excellent rebounder and solid inside game, but we already have a power forward like that in Al Horford who arguably has the higher ceiling. Not only that but he would also ask for top of the market money. I would understand the desire to sign him if we didn't have a player like Horford, but I don't see Lee as being *that player* that our big men core desperately needs.

Here are some random blog comments by Sekou.

Insurance Hoops, I’d call it insurance. And I just think that the Hawks have maybe seen the light after the playoffs and realized that they need more quality players to fill this roster out. I’m sure they are facing competition to re-sign Zaza, so they have to be prepared for the reality that he might not be back here.

Haven’t heard a word on Artest. Can’t imagine the Rockets can afford to let him go anywhere given their current predicament.

Hoops, where are you getting this stuff my man. Devin Harris? No. And I don’t know who is floating rumors about Josh Childress playing for the Hawks this season. While I’d love to see it happen, I don’t see any way it gets done. I don’t see any way.

That was just a dream list ignoring reality and cap rules (for fun).

In reality I think Flip could easily come back as our #1 fall back option if the true PGs are taken. I do not see Flip and Bibby both coming back (or Flip + another well known FA guard.)

I am assuiming the Bucks keep Sessions and the Pacers keep Jack.

I also assume Kidd will be in NY or Dallas with Portland as an outside possibility.

Miller is only asking for a 3 year contract...........If Bibby only ask us for 3 years the chance he stays goes up. However, if we lose Bibby, I think Sund callls Flips agent immediately to negotiate a fair deal. If we keep Bibby then Sund will just low ball Flip where he can take it or leave it.
