DJlaysitup
Any fool can see who the game changer is....it's Josh Smith. Like it or lump it..it's reality. Hofrord is a very nice 6-9 1/2 center who can hold his own against regular competition. Horford is also a nice "company man" who did the OLY practice thing and doesn't have tats...golden boy. (and for anybody who thinks there is race involved - "golden boy" is most times used for white fellas (usually QBs) Edited February 10, 2010 by DJlaysitup
benhillboy
I think everyone was surprised Al made it and Josh didn't, but it was based solely on the depth of the forward position being much deeper than the 5 in today's NBA. Zydrunas Ilgauskus, Brad Miller, and Ben Wallace were All-Stars. Even at their peaks,I would never place any of these guys anywhere near Al's all-around game, maybe Miller in his best season. Admin
The sky is green and the grass is blue .... oh wait the facts don't back that up :thumbsdownsmileyanim: Horford IS AN ALL-STAR because he's going to play in the All-Star game and because he plays a position with less talent around the league than PF. Smoove SHOULD BE AN ALL-STAR because he's grown by leaps and bounds this year an is arguably our MVP but unfortunately you can't always go from being seen as a super athletic player with discipline problems (relating to shooting long jumpers) who also whines to the officials and doesn't dominant game in and game out like he should to being seen as the player that he's been throughout most of this season. However, give him a great showing on national TV in the playoffs and another strong season next year and it would be extremely difficult to see him being left out again. Guess they all must be dumber than "any fool."
