Carmelo traded to Knicks.

I am so happy that the Knicks got Carmelo, but I thought that they should've signed him in the off-season since he said he wanted to go to New York. I didn't want the knicks to give up Gallinari and Wilson Chandler, but they probably wouldn't get playing time behind Melo anyway. I still think Denver got all they could've gotten out of this trade. I don't know why Minnesota did this trade.

I can tell you that. The Knicks kicked in enough money to fully pay for Curry's salary. Curry will be cut.

That means they traded Brewer for Randolph. Since Brewer had no future there and Randolph is a high upside guy, they are taking a low-risk/high-reward shot at getting a guy who could be a stud PF if he ever got his head in the game. If Randolph doesn't work out, the T-Wolves have basically given up nothing.

It is a no lose proposition for them.
