Build the right team and win. f*** the excuses. In the end, nobody cares about the refs, the screwed up plays, the bad decisions by the coach. Nobody but the victims. The winners and their fans have moved on.

This is why you play the game to win - on and off the court. Nobody is going to give it to you. You have to go out there and snatch that shit away. What can the refs do if we're up by 14? What harm could Josh do if we're up by 10 and he takes that dumb shot...and get's his ass benched? At that point, Joe, Al, and anybody else that made a bad decision...wouldn't have even been on the court. What if we had swept those old green motherfuckers? None of this would even matter.

I saw this day when we got dusted by Orlando a few years ago. I had my fears when we couldn't clinch our own playoff spot in 2008. We need a winner. Not a team of decent players, led by a #2 option.

I'll still be here though. Through the summer. Though the draft. Through the preseason. Through the regular season....and regardless of the playoff outcome next year. I guess because I'm a hopeless damn fan. I don't care who is on the court, who is in the front office, or who owns this team. I only care about the RED... That ATLANTA HAWKS RED.

A new era in Atlanta Hawks Basketball is long overdue. I can only hope that we don't delay the inevitable.

You're right brah... You're only as good as your last game and this last game showed that we are FAR from being a contender. Horford and Teague are a great start, but Marvin needs to be unemployed and Josh needs to be employed elsewhere. Joe can be a #1, if we actually had a #2 threat that demands to be respected. Also, a bench that can come in and contribute. Also, we need to hire a coach that has a set offense and forces guys to run plays; not just go out there, freewheel and hope something happens. An offense with movement, pick and rolls, and NO DAMN ISO.

I saw this coming from a mile away. To be honest we went further than I expected what with all the p!ssed away draft picks.The win over ORL with Dwight was the high water mark for this "core". I thought without injurires we could go to the second round again - but it didn't work out.BK built a team that wouod founder in the playoffs because BK thought you didn't need a Center or a primary PG. (notice BK hasn't been re-employed in the NBA while Woody has).
