Naw, I don't like that guy. Respect his game though, I guess. One of the greatest players in history who I could never really classify as "great." I did have great resoect for his fourth quarter scoring: he led the league for a good while diring his peak. I saw a Celtics blog a while back that dived into his career numbers much deeper than anyone should, but the diversity of his game is impressie from a historical perspective. I think he's one of those who'll have to wait for the HOF a few years and be disappointed. He doesnt have that one unique or transcendent skill that puts him over the top as a surefire. I can say he did a whole hell of a lot more with 6'7, 230-something pounds than Joe ever did, a lot less than Melo can offensively, but a much better defender than Melo at his peak. Sometimes you watch him now and you can't even tell he's out there until he shoots that hideous three ball.

I miss Joe. Granted his trade was for the betterment of the team, but the guy can make the most awesome plays.
