Too bad I missed the Hawksquawk fantasy b-ball league. I guess I'll just have to settle for the AJC League crown, if Northcyde United can pull it out this week in the Finals. Would've been nice to have a shot to win 2 leagues though.

I can still remember that game like it was yesterday. I still can't believe we lost that game. And to Antoine Walker, Tony Delk and Nazr Mohammed no less. 3 guys that went on to play for the freaking Hawks.

Lawrence Moten and John Wallace taught me a valuable lesson about overrating Syracuse basketball players though as I thought both would be stars in the NBA and neither ended up doing squat. Boeheim is one of the most underrated coaches out there though as he's taken some absolutely under qualified teams deep into the tournament in his years at Syracuse. Speaking of him, did you know that Pitino was an assistant to Boeheim in 76-77?
