Moderators macdaddy Posted May 1, 2013 Author Moderators Report Share Posted May 1, 2013 Josh averaged 17.5 ppg this year. That is better than the leading scorers for Indiana ( George, 17.4) , Memphis ( Randolph 15.4 ), and Denver ( Lawson 16.7 ). Denver is surprisingly on the ropes down 3-1; but both Indy and Memphis are 2-2 so far. True but I feel like we're a team that doesn't have a guy you give the ball to with the game on the line and say get us a bucket. Maybe I'm not as familiar with the other teams but almost all of them you can point to a wing that can shoot and drive. I guess Josh is unconventional but still that guy. I'm not surprised at Denver actually. Their home-away record was so lopsided i think it really made their overall record suspect. The Hawks went in there on the second night of a back to back end of west coast road trip. I know the altitude isn't considered by many to be a big difference maker but i think it is. It is what it is. Memphis traded away their leading scorer in Gay and Indy's best scorer ( Granger ) has been long gone for the season. Yet both teams have just as many playoff wins ( 2 ) as we do. And there are one or two more teams whose best scorer is only a point or so better than Smoove. What amazes me about Denver is they are the highest scoring offense in the league ( 106 ppg ) and do not even have a 20ppg scorer, much less someone like Bron or Melo. benhillboy
Here's to Al beasting the boards, Josh escorting George to jail, Teague running up Hill's back, and Kyle draining. Petro use the length, Devin (see Teague), and Ivan punking Hansborough and whoever else he damn well feel like. Leggo. This is a Big Game in Hawks History.
