I will probably turn this into a full-length article for the site that I write for now (ballermindframe.com), but I truly believe that everyone here deserved it first. It is no secret that Zaza is my favorite player. I have spent the last 10 years of my life rooting for him religiously: from the Magic, to the Bobcats (expansion draft), to the Bucks, to the Hawks. I am only 23 years old today, so imagine that. I spent every dollar I had on Zaza Pachulia autographs when I was younger. As I grew, that spending gravitated towards beer and weed, but my love of Zaza never deteriorated. I am sure you all remember the game-winning layup he missed versus Denver, I disappeared for months. I just couldn't understand why the only chance he had in his life to be clutch (besides a game-winning tip-in versus the Magic 7 years ago), he didn't follow through on. But that is life. Zaza is my favorite player, and it isn't even close. I get upset when he falls down, I am pissed when he misses free throws,and that is life. But tonight, that changed. He signed with the Bucks again for some reason. I don't know why he did what he did, but it is life. The worst part of it all, was that my ex-girlfriend (who I haven't talked to in more than a month) broke the news to me via text, A double heartbreak. Oh well. I won't bore you with the stupid details anymore. Zaza is my favorite player, and he made me love the Hawks. I also liked Joe Johnson, Marvin Williams, and Ivan Johnson. The age of the Hawks that I wanted to win the championship has passed, and I have no team to root for. So f*** it. I am a huge basketball fan, but what does a man with no favorite team do? I suppose pout over his favorite player going somewhere that his career will hit a dead-end. Oh well. I am drunk, and this is the end of my tenure here I suppose. I hope you win a championship, but it would have been so much sweeter with JJ/Marv/Smoove/Zaza and Ivan. Oh well. Life. Goodbye Zaza and Hawksquawk.
