KB21
Did anyone see the story on Derrick Caracter? The NBA has subjected themselves to scouting a 14 year old player here. Derrick Caracter is the latest player that will have national news crews and NBA scouts following him around during his entire high school career. This is a lot of pressure to put on a 14 year old kid to play now. The thing about this 14 year old kid that is impressing people is this: 6-9, 280 lbs This kid is this big at 14 years of age. He's already being touted as a combination of Shaq and Chris Webber. The story says he has already developed a drop step, can step out and take the 15 foot jumper, and can hit an occasional three pointer. At 14 years of age and 6-9, the kid probably has another growth spurt in him. By the time this kid is a senior, he could be Shaq size very easily, and he may have Shaq's type of athleticism. Admin
I will tell you one thing, this kid better watch his weight. He is humongous already. I seriously doubt that at 14 years old its mostly muscle either.......maybe its still baby fat. What a freak though
