Lol - that would really annoy me.

Would rather he release him and do nothing else.

Ferry has 4 hours to do something with Salmons. No confirmation on waiving him.

Blame it on Douchy for all the inactivity.

Could it be that DF has multiple contingencies on what to do with Salmons depending on LBJ's decision?  I dunno.

 

Or calling any and everybody asking if they want Salmons before waiving him last minute. It's either he has many trade scenarios or nothing and in panic mode to find one before the clock turns midnight.

Now the reports are that Melo is interested in going to Chicago again.

 

IMO Melo in CHI would be a problem.  Let's keep him safely in crappy New York.  If he goes to CHI you got Indy, Chicago, and wherever LBJ goes to worry about.

 

Not that we wouldn't have to worry about Chicago anyway - but....

Chicago with Melo would be instant ECF expectations. Along with the team LeBron goes to. Leaving us, indy, wash, and Toronto as the "possible sleepers"
