Curious, is Dennis's hair streak a birth mark or a choice?

I'm to the age where my hair is either turning gray or turning loose.

 

But, I'm not losing hair, it's just growing out my nose and ears.

I'm going with a similar fashion statement as Dennis.  Except I put the streak on both sides...and it's gray.   

 

I've taken it a step further...I have thinned my "top of the head" hair and transferred that growth to my eyebrows, ears and back...just to show off
