How would you grade the Hawks past two days?

Too many variables to give them anything higher than a B-.

Adding Splitter and losing Pero is an upgrade. Losing Carroll and gaining Tim Jr, is a downgrade. Bringing over Edy is a positive. The Hawks now have a more balanced lineup, but it isn't a significantly better lineup. We still don't have a go to guy to get us tough points when the system breaks down. And our SF depth is even worse than last year.

An A+ would've been signing LaMarcus Aldridge. So I can't give our moves anything higher than a B-.

We have definently made upgrades to our bench and we've addressed some major issues we've had in the playoffs, interior defense and rebounding. The Hawks need to address the current hole we have at SF before they get an A from me.

Too bad we outscored opponents when he was on court in playoffs but got outscored when he wasn't

There is more to playing good/bad than box score stats

We played a terrible Brooklyn Nets team and a less than 100% John Wall led Wizards team before getting smashed by Cleveland. The point you brought up really isn't positive man.

A+  Carroll. Red Auerbach said some of the best moves are the ones you don't make. Matching that crazy 15 million a year contract is exactly that.
