Spring training almost here !!

Braves are thought by those "experts" or talking heads on TV to be one of the worst teams in baseball

this upcoming season. So, what's to be excited about?

Atlanta Braves proved last season that they couldn't win with the players that they had. Many were

very good players. They did their job well. The Braves just couldn't win.

Also, they had a very poor farm system.

They traded off those players who had been obtained for that instant fix. What did they get?

Enough prospects to now have one of the top farm systems in baseball and they will be drawing

from this pool into the majors. Many are "Not quiet mature - ready for prime time" but they will

grow up as we watch. They still have a few old vets around to hold things together.

Braves probably win less but it will be exciting to watch them grow!!!

this team will be worse than last year's team. Which says it all...

I totally disagree, Sothron. They very well may lose more games than last year.

However, I believe they will be much more exciting to watch. They will be young

and learning. What was exciting about watching last season? To me, nothing!

Spring training in progress. As expected, lots and lots of new, rookie players in the lineup.

Many who are playing now will go to the minor leagues. We expect the minors to be

solid this season, as opposed to last season.

Braves may feel like a yoyo to some, as they move up and down. By season's end we will

look much more mature than we do now !!
