cyman3
i hate how us (the fans) get to pick the allstars. i understand that we are the ones being entertained and therefore should be able to pick whoever we want... but i hate it when stuff like this happens... PLAYER A 20.3 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 2.3 apg, .81 spg, 2.66 bpg, .439 fg%, .750 ft%, .000 3pt%, 36.9 mpg PLAYER B 20.1 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 2.7 apg, .94 spg, .45 bpg, .502 fg%, .868 ft%, .235 3pt%, 36.3 mpg lets compare to two... main differences PLAYER A is the better BLOCKER PLAYER B shoots better % in FG and FTs. now PLAYER A has roughly 870,000 votes and is clearly on his way to the allstar game. PLAYER B has 130,000 votes and prob will get left out. PLAYER A = J ONEAL PLAYER B = S ABDURRAHIM also... Scottie Pippen has more votes than Reef. Malik Rose has similar votes as Reef... Alonzo Mourning is on his way to the allstar game in the east w/ Ben Wallace. Sam Cassell is havin a career year and hes not even mentioned as a top 10 guard in the WESTERN conference. Admin chillzatl Posted January 2, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted January 2, 2004 If Reef deserves to get in, the coaches will vote him in. That's how it's done. Fans don't pick all the all-stars, just the starters. His stats are good enough that he should go. they are better than oneals by large. But he plays for a losing team and hasn't really stepped up beyond his career numbers to help change that. He should get in. But I would completely understand if he's passed over.
