Taking advantage of the market

There are going to be some opportunities there, players that fit our system and we can get them cheap. Terrence Jones, Matt Barnes, Brandon Knight, Tucker,  Lou Williams, Galloway, Ajinca.... when you have major holes as backup PG, SF and backup bigs is easy something there you can use

We have some expirings we can unload to a rebuilding team as Thabo, Splitter, Scott, some wings that are redundant and we can trade to a team looking for wing help as Bazemore... Muscala could be appealing for some team....

There are opportunities there, just make it happen Hawks!!

by the way I am assuming we don not get any big name

Would argue with some of those particulars, but not with the macro... there are definitely teams overloaded in areas that beg for them to make a move, even if it means taking some discount... hence, my personal inclinations to finagle a Barea where DAL is overloaded, Jones (or Cunningham) where NOP is overloaded, and Hawes where MIL is overloaded, and get value.... and when you replace what has unfortunately ended up being dead roster space with viable NBA talent (the 10-day contract slot at SG, plus Splitter and Scott), that means your entire roster benefits by virtue of shouldering less of the load, but especially the front line.
