Pretty much all of the proven starter caliber FAs are gone. We're now arguing over 2nd if not 3rd stringers.

The only way we possibly avoid challenging for the worst 2017-18 record at this point is via trade... and yes, that Melo thing still seemingly holds some merit simply b/c there's just not many teams that can help NYK out... or, if one or more of our guys is about to bust out in a Dak Prescott  kind-of way, ie, pretty much completely unexpected by anyone and everyone.
