They usually are superior in skill to everyone else on the floor - they just have that edge exagerrated by the star system. I think Diesel cited it for the exact right reason - it is a reason to resent LeBron that he gets these unfair calls and builds them into the way he plays. I resented Jordan for that. Didn't mean I didn't also respect him but I resented the hell out of the fact that he could push off of the defender but got sent to the line anytime the defender breathed on him once he was "established" as the game's greatest player (i.e., he didn't get the same "respect" when he was still proving himself).
