Who gives a .... he's tall enough..

Trae is like 6 ft and ballin like a mother

True but height matters. Not being greedy but what if Trae was 6'3 & dunking like Morant on top of what he already does? Just saying height matters a little in basketball.

Thats more about athleticism than height..

A lot of team passed on them because of short arms. Sometimes teams really do outsmart themselves. "Man he's an amazing shooter...Yea but his arms are short, that's a no go."

Agreed...I think its more about perception on the defensive end....Jimmy Butler also has short arms and hes a good defender..

He's a tremendous lateral athlete and he's big for his position. He's more like Okoro. JC does have lateral ability like Trae but it's their instincts on defense that's lacking bad! Trae's case is extremely bad.

I think we are being naive if we think Trae's defense is suddenly going to dramatically improve. But at least now we can mix and match. Probably even do offense/defense at the ends of games in certain situations.

All I need to see from Trae is for him to be consistently engaged and giving a consistent effort and energy on defense.
