I can never dump on Pete.... yes, even though he made the Rider deal.

As we've noted more than once, he was the GM when HS first began, and he really helped make HS legitimate because he did 2 or 3 Q&A's with us, via Hawks PR man Arthur Triche's mediation.

 

Funny knowing what we know now how off-base Fred Carter's takes were.

I'd put that in the "did right" column for him but I'm just not a fan of him as a GM at all.  He may have been the worst drafter in NBA history.

Oh, those draft picks. Good God Almighty, there were a few times where I thought that my name was going to get called, they were so bad...
