I'm not promoter of the trade.   Just saying.   If Trae's representation asked for a trade to the Lakers... this is what it could look like.  I would still say no... and make it get ugly.

Trae has 4 years left on his deal, so even if he wants to be traded to LAL, they have nothing to make it worthwhile to the Hawks. If he's traded it will be to a team where the Hawks recoup it's best return.

Not even worth the brain power to worth discussing at this point though.
