Mod elections

As a long time poster here, I thought it might be a good idea to ask when mods are elected for service.

As a democracy here in squawkland (we still a demo…) we should get a chance to be able to vote for an election rather than have our “insiders” for example be our mods. It’s like being the judge and the jury type thing. 
 

Is it not fair or taboo to have this discussion? I just want to see the right people at the head of this thing. I feel like it’s getting swayed. 
 

I think we should review and get a chance to vote in the people who will police our posts.

Spud, to the point of this post and trying to be fair to you, thinking here is that your conflict isn't with the police. It's with the laws. You should cite the law you don't like, and see if people agree with your proposed change.
