I did my favorite 5 of the acts listed from the total list.  Looks like I misunderstood the direction.

ATCQ has 85, but their first album came out in 90. And that wasn’t their best work.

I think it is the date the group formed per Wikipedia.

The dates were just for cataloging.   Had there been enough votes, I would have brought in a different poll to narrow down the best of the best.   

But maybe the topic isn't that interesting.
