There you can see his music video. It isn't flashy

or anything, but I like it.

I love listening to rock, soul, R&B and The Blues

but this stuff takes it to a new level for me. I

mean, I'm not a church going person.... But you don't

have to be to enjoy this.

Some go for the lyrics, but I go for the sound of

the voice and instruments. The lyrics can be a bonus.

There. I think her first two albums are the best. Her

best song is Wish I Didn't Miss You IMO.

Angie Stone is fantastic. I cant believe you guys have only just caught onto her. The Mahogany Soul album is so great. Actually all the albums are great. That girl has some amazing lungs.

I'm not impressed with J records. It seems to me

Clive Davis doesn't do a great job of promoting

his bands/singers. He hasn't spread the word

about Silvertide all that well either. I'd rather

hear her over Beyonce and Joss Stone. I know, I

know... Joss has a decent voice, but that's about

all it really is. For me to enjoy soul it has

to be about more than just a voice.

When I was in LA last month I was listening to a live set on KCRW, and I heard a band called Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.

They are stupidly groovy and apparently she is from Georgia via NYC, so in your backyard cats.
