Hotlanta, I agree with you in principal (that they'll trade Stoudamire), but I'm not sure if that's the one that'll happen. As I mentioned, for some unknown reason, I think it'll be a three-way trade.

Gotta hand it to you though, the trade's realistic and you brought up Anderson, a better player than most realize IMO - someone that needs to get outta NY.

Stoudmire and Houston are both good players in this league, just overpaid. NY needs a PG in the worse way possible. Im sure they'll love to have their hands on Stoudmire.

I see Stoudmire out of Portland this year!

Well McInnis is a better PG than Damon is and Damon makes

too much to be another backup.And Derek Anderson is a pure

crybaby and they are better off playing Ruben Patterson instead.

The Blazers also get a pure shooter in which they lack

The problem is that NY thinks Houston is better than he really is so they probably won't do it. I think NY would be CRAZY not to do this deal though. Houston is a great shooter but he's not nearly as well rounded a player as Anderson is plus they get that desperately needed starting PG.

In fact, maybe not a threeway. Maybe a lonely 2 way. I wouldn't be surprised to see Stoudamire going to Golden State. GS has a whole lot of Overpaid Crap Players and they have a need at PG.

The other thing is that Stoudamire is not as bad as he has been in PTL. He's still the same ROY guy that played for Zeke in Toronto. New Surroundings with a team like NY or GS might do him a world of Good.

If he were to go to NY, why not for Spreewell?

If he goes to GS, why not for:

Mills, Sura, and Foyle for Stoudamire/Anderson.

Better question, would you would rather have Houston and his contract or Spree and his contract? If I were NY, I'd rather keep Spree and deal Houston.
