I got to see this movie last week on one of my off days. I thought that it was an okay movie, but like Rob zombie's 1st movie house of 1,000 corpses this one is sort of wierd and demented as well. The only character that I actually liked was the Sheriff Wydell. The new sheriff in this movie is the old one's brother who is trying to avenge his death. The sheriff has a Billy "Bada$$" attitude and is just as sadistic as the family he is trying to catch. There is also some humor in this film although it is kind of in bad taste. I would recommed waiting for it to come to DVD if you can't catch the matinee.
