Diop has really not had the chance to prove anything, but he currently is a giant bust, and I would be willing to see him on the Hawks. It seems like contenders are the team that are wanting him the most.

after four years in the league, if you "haven't had a chance to prove anything", you are a bust by default, deservedly so. Even Kwame Brown showed enough to get himself more than 6mpg and had some big games. Diop is a turd sandwich.

i think so. Collier is a decent 11th/12th man (3rd center) on any NBA team.

The guy has the tools to be one of the better BACKUP CENTERS in this league- but wat gives? does he not work hard in practices? why cant he play BIGGER w/ his big frame?

i just dont get it. if i had his size/body- id get NASTY in the paint.

He is 280 to Collier's 260, alot slower, doesn't have collier's shot. Like I said, they're basically the same, just swap the offense and defense. Yes Ekezie is just a bad shot blocker while Collier is a horrible one, but Collier has a decent offense while Diop's is horrible. Diop is not a better dunker. I honestly believe Collier is a better all around player, and Collier is worthless.

Have you guys honestly seen this guy play? We don't only lose cap space because there are limited roster spots

Looks like you now have the answers to your questions. We missed out on a giant talent and by giant I mean a size that we could have really used. Billy Knight should have went after Diop stronger, but yet we allow another big man project turned promising player go.
