Our offense has the players just standing around if they are not involved in the pick and roll. No movement. We are not talented enough to switch on every play, that's stupid. Opens up too many lanes for us. What happened to one on one defense? Lock your man down. My last rant, Len, has got to do a better defensive job on the pick in roll. Man he retreats back to basket and leaves a wide open jump shot. I think the tank is real. What's wrong with John Collin??? Really!!! Your to paid to work, not sit. I'm out.

We had this game and lost it. Damn Lebron!!! He is still our Achilles heel.

In regards to Cleveland's guard Collin Sexton, there was one play that bothered me that night. The Hawks were called for a technical foul and Korver and Sexton were in the game. I automatically thought Korver would get the nod for taking the technical shot, as he averages almost 90 percent at the stripe. Instead, Sexton basically pushes him off the line and proceeds to take the shot. I saw the look on Korver's face like what the hell, and he shook his head and walked away. To his credit, Sexton made the technical shot but in the back of my mind, I thought, I would have allowed the veteran to take that technical shot in respect to his career average. I could be reading more into this than what I perceived. Reading some of the posts about Sexton now, I was not all that surprised. I am glad we got Trae.

I wish the Hawks would stop making wholesale changes when they bring in the second string. If you have a starter that is hot, leave them in the games and vica versa.

Yes, I had a similar experience. There did not seem to be enough concession stands. The lines were ridiculously long. Love the prices but who has time to stand in such long lines. They need to increase the number of concessions stands, however, there seemed to be plenty of places to buy alcohol. Get them intoxicated and they will love the game, win or lose. Go figure...

He obviously was judging off emotion. Watch the games then judge the play. Young’s play was as good as any other top 5 rookies selected during this year. Only Ayton looked to be at a different level this preseason. True fans support through the good and bad. You ran for the wrong reasons. Your going to miss out on a well coached good, young and exciting team. GoHawks!

I thought Alex Len had a good game tonight when he wasn't getting fouls called on him. I think we have a legit center who could control the middle. 18 points tonight and was in foul trouble for most of the game against a savvy vet.

Is it me or is anyone else annoyed by all the damn calls this preseason? I hope the refs get it out their system now because I refused to watch a game of blow whistle instead of basketball.

Dorsey's line vs. Memphis: 18 pts, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Better than the "Golen Child." All the critics raved that his 11 pts, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists on how great that was! He should be leaped and bounds better than our players because he played professional ball for years. BTW, not a Luka hater, sure he will have a good career, but I do not see the second coming of Bird. Bird averaged 30 pts a game and 13 rebounds a game at Indiana State. That's special. Look up the great one's Euro stats. He was clutch, but not very productive. Let's show our player some appreciation. Ok off my soapbox.

Real slow....

Got to see the team at GT last night. Overall the team looked really good against New Orleans. When it was starters against starters, the Hawks were trading leads or down by a few against one of the better teams of the west. John Collins held his own against A.D. point for point. Collins was clearly the best player for the team last night. He and Trae had a good chemistry together. Trae struggled with his jumper, however, found success by driving to the basket and his assists. He should start with layups first, then his jumper will come as he relaxes more. Bembry looked awesome and played within himself. He played point often and did not turn the ball over. Even old skool Vince good last night. Kevin Heurter did not play well, he looked like a rook last night. Don't think he scored. Prince looked good. Jeremy Lin looked like he was learning to trust his body again on the court. He got more comfortable the longer he stayed in the game. It was clear that our bench was way deeper than NO's bench. That may be the difference for the Hawks this year. Said it before and will say it again, we will not be the cellar team of the league this year.

I am stoked for the upcoming season. Row G for the game tomorrow, anyone else going???

YES!! I always wanted to bring RJ home. Let's find a way to put him on the permanent team.

I believe Trae will have the biggest impact on the team this year. I believe he will be one of the assists leaders the league, if he is the starter for the team. If the Hawks actually stick to the run and gun offensive philosophy mentioned so far, this will present the prime opportunity for Trae to showcase his skillset. He is surrounded by better talent now than he ever had in college and AAU and the young man has never averaged less than 27 pts a year. I predict he will lead the Hawks in scoring the second half of the season and average around 15-17 for the year.

The players know what the deal is. We got playa in this year's draft. Now let's see if the play matches the hype for Trae and the mighty one.

guess I am a bandwagoner too. brought my season tickets and can't wait until the games begin.....

This article is obviously slanted one way. We get it, the guy wanted us to choose Doncic. Let the guys play ball. Judge the trade mid-way through the season. None of us has seen Doncic play against the competition here. I guess for some it is fun to speculate. Personally, I agree with all the move the Colonel has made. At least he has a vision and is building towards it. I felt we were just floundering under Bud. He gave away and lost players and we got little to nothing in return. I am excited about the new start for the Hawks.
