The NBA will just come up with another rule to target Trae - one in which, just like this year, he'll trample over and flex on the NBA for good measure anyway. Maybe they'll call it something like, oh I dunno, "The Ice Chip on Shoulder Rule." I heard a movie is coming out about it, with Trae young starring himself and Spike Lee guest starring as the NBA. Clint Capela couldn't carry Zaza Pachulia's jock strap! And WTF is a Timothe Luwawu-Cabarro? Sounds like a French film or something. Knowing the French, it's probably smelly, overrated, and uppity. Did I do it right?

Any time you lose an All-Star caliber player like John who does so much for the team, it's a big deal. You can't replace him, but you just have to roll with and trust the other guys you have. This is yet another reason why I wouldn't be mad if we moved on from Nate and some of these assistants. Nate is too rigid with rotations, seems to play guys less when they should be playing more, ignores Jalen and Sharife despite multiple legit opportunities to get them into games (read: when the game has been comfortably decided or due to injury) and hasn't implemented a versatile offense. I wish Delon could score, but he's a strong defender on a team that is full of subpar-to-average-at-best defenders.

I can respect that. But here's the thing, when we get close to .500, we fail. Raptors x2, and now lowly azz Pistons. If we search hard enough, we'll find an excuse to pump up a bad team. Soon, it'll devolve into, "Well, they ARE NBA players after all - everybody has talent." While true, we gotta find a way to close this one out. Too many bad performances and dumb, dumb play tonight. If the Hawks want to make noise THIS year, they can't let games like this slip away - whether it be at home, on the road, or on planet effin Mars. Someone said a loss right now would feel like two losses - and in a way it's not wrong. They have dug themselves such a hole that every loss is a two outcome swing (instead of .500, now we are 2 games under...again). Bucks and Clips up next - doesn't get easier. Sigh...

Well damn, I put the phone down a few minutes ago and we were up 13. I look now and we're up 27. Wow, that escalated quickly!
