  1. Wade and Rondo still have ridiculously long wingspans that are crafty vets. No they are not defenders of 5 years past but my point was positions 1-5 not 1-2. Is that the Hoeford homer, I'm way out of the loop.
  2. It'll take some time for the synergy with Sap and Dwight. Dennis will have tunnel vision at times and that's why we need a vet behind him. The Bulls starting 5 is very strong on defense. The team still shot 47 percent which is nice vs. a good defensive team. Only two players shot free throws the entire game which is not good. We'll need to get more free throw attempts to offset some struggles with offense during the season.
  3. Guess I'm in the minority of Muscala over Scott. Scott has legal troubles, already 28, and wants to be a d-boy, etc. Considering how injury prone Splitter is and foul/injury prone Dwight can be... MM provides depth at the 5. So I probably cut Scott, Maggette, and Bynum. Edy I hold onto until I figure out what his actual ceiling is. If Scott sticks, he along with Hardaway and Edy are top trader fodder.

    Edy Tavares

He has a bad habit of swatting at the ball opposed to just stretching his arm straight out. He's come a long way for sure but so much more to go.
  5. I remember Acie Law IV look very good coming out the gate but he never developed. He had just about everything you looked for at point guard with the size and the name of a star... I just like Bembry more of the two. If he develops a decent jumper, he could be a very good 2 way player. Not the class of Wade per se but something along those lines. Wasn't a big fan of Prince at 12 but I would bet he doesn't make it to pick 21. I believe he's the more productive/impactful player in year 3 but Bembry seems to have the better outlook long term.
  6. Not gonna lie, I'm mad we gave up Kelly Oubre for THJ. Oubre would more than likely be ready to start with a year under the system.
  7. Roster is pretty full so you gotta work him out. 1 year deal if he shows something but this system would be good for him except the shooting. He could still play good defense and rebound some. Only time he seemed interested out there was when they made that run in Houston. He was playing at a very high level.
  8. Took awhile for me to warm up to the pick. I think he'll just play "forward". He should be able to play small ball 4 with Howard. I see alot of Crash in his game. Hopefully a much better shooter. Nothing intending to start alienate players but I like Bembry better. He's my darkhorse to be starting small forward sometime during the season.
  9. I don't know about these pre draft type of workouts. To simulate a live in game situation, I would think you get him practicing after a long hard workout. Fatigue, sweat in eyes, achy joints, etc. If he gets comfortable making them in those conditions, then I can believe.
  10. https://twitter.com/LethalShooter__ Hopefully he improves for us as that's my biggest knock on his signing.
  11. Yeah I guess. It was when Wall was out and he was filling in. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wizards-insider/wp/2016/04/19/ramon-sessions-enters-free-agency-hoping-for-a-chance-as-starting-point-guard/ I want to see our new guy in summer league.
  12. I would like to get Sessions on board although he's stated that he wants to be a starter for a team.
  13. What's the deal on his 8'6 standing reach. Someone posted it was closer to 8'10. With his 6'11 wingspan he should be able to play alot of small ball 4.

    Well, what now?

Edit: it's closer to 9-10 million once you cut/renounce Scott and Hinrich. Splitter is such dead weight and he would allow us to throw a semi max at someone if his contract could be absorbed by someone. It's smart to just play this out for the next draft and free agency. Probably move Sap sometime by the deadline or so. Hate it or love it Dwight and Dennis are our building blocks.

    Well, what now?

We don't have much money something around 7-9 million left over and you see what that gets you in todays market. He screwed us man.
  16. This is who some of you put your trust in. Traitorous Danny Manning bastard. I'm sure Tito is happy right now. Hope you tear your third breast, you bish.
  17. Dallas seems like the tragic losers in this fiasco. Do they dare offer up a top 3 protected pick for Millsap. Perhaps not but what an ideal trade for us.
  18. My first statement was being facetious. I know what kind of player Sap is but his value ranges. My curiosity was the draft picks people are saying is involved as is it current or future.
  19. There has to be other teams other than Phoenix. It's okay now to trade picks after they just signed?
  20. I think us fans would want to kick him in the ass by preseason. Why not give Austin Rivers a look over.
  21. Just cause the Hawks can give Al 150+ million doesn't mean they will or even close that figure or years. They have holes at both guard positions.
  22. Firstly, welcome home Dwight. A few years too late but it's lit now. I don't see how the Hawks will meet Al's salary demands. Al should do us a solid and help with a sign and trade if at all possible. Dennis ??? Kyle Sap Dwight We need that swingman and I'm not talking Baze.
  23. Now that there are some rumblings he may really sign here who fits best with him, Al or Millsap. For me it's Millsap but he has the best trade value on the team so... Dennis ??? Korver Al Dwight Just wondering what type of swingman Sap could net us. I like the lineup, love it depending on a potential trade.
  24. On offense perhaps... but his interior defense, shot blocking, finishing ability, rebounding, etc. is something Bud can't coach. That free throwing shooting is almost a deal breaker for me. Unless there is some real rumblings he wants here, I'm not going to be too vested.
  25. According to who. It's like saying Zaza is better than Splitter but it's all relative. Balancing the fit and price tag most would go with Dud.
