  1. Why would Bird trade him during the deadline and not the offseason. They have 71 million committed for next season so cap space isn't a problem at all. That offer doesn't net us an all star much less a caliber of Paul George. I'm just hoping for W. Chandler and calling it a day.
  2. You hit it right on an ant's nose. Dennis is the best three point shooter in the starting lineup at only 34.5 percent. Delaney has been bad overall, shooting Smoove like numbers. Way too many holes to fix in one draft and offseason much less a trade deadline... I don't want to touch none of the draft picks this year. Players like Luke Kennard, John Collins, or Miles Bridges in the 1st round should be available. The 31st pick has prospects like Jawun Evans, Caleb Swanigan, or insert top Euro prospect. Even the Heat 2nd rounder could net a sleeper.
  3. Dennis rubs people the wrong way. It's okay vs. the opps but cut that stuff out with teammates. Dwight has been everything I'd hope for thus far. Sure there are things that irk me but he's doing what he was brought in to do. Dwight has been killing it at the line the past month or so. That aspect of his game makes up for his lack of post scoring in the offense. That's if he can keep it going.
  4. I'll take Gallianri, Barton, and a top 7 protected pick. If they want throw in the center that doesn't any pt.
  5. Push comes to shove I'd do Sap for Noel straight up. Maybe include our unprotected 2017 pick for the Lakers pick. One things for certain, whoever plays sf and sg have to be 40% and above 3 point shooters. Philly could really round out their roster for what Millsap could net them.
  6. I'm seeing Philly in trade talks. Three way with Noel, Lakers pick and fillers. Philly then could take on highest bidder for Millsap. Unlikely but that would be brazy for us.
  7. Looks like the 2019 pick is top 10 protected with the option for 2020 instead. That's marvelous.
  8. Can't imagine trading a hometown kid 6 months into his first season. Can't be the best pr move the franchise could make. He's only signed for 2.5 years anyway. If he wants a trade I would want to accommodate it. First let's dangle Splitter/1st rounder to see what's out there.
  9. Very harsh but it was what it was. Do people even remember what we gave up for KK. Literally next to nothing: cash and trade exemption. Cavs were the only ones willing to give it up a 1st rounder and I thought we were going to flip Dunleavy for that Turkish prospect... Would've been tremendous value, still a good deal. Korver is obviously slowing down but I wish him well in the finals.
  10. Wouldn't mind kicking the tires on Nick Young. He rubs people the wrong way but he's having a helluva year. I know the Lakers offered Bazeless 72 million in the offseason.
  11. I really don't have any in mind per se. The draft is pretty deep at sg, sf, and pf in that order. We stand at pick 18 right now and I think a player there will be better than what we could acquire by trade. But we also invested much in Prince and Bembry along with Bazeless. One trade I been thinking of is Bazeless for Wesley Matthews.
  12. This team is a legit sg or sf from competing for the East. Hardaway and Korver vs. the Spurs showed us what kind of team it's capable of being when you get production from those positions. But we do have holes at backup point and center. I'd try to parlay the Minny pick and our 2017 pick into the best swingman we could get. It'll have to be a very good player as our current pick could net an interesting player if we hover around 500. by seasons end.
  13. Dennis and Sap are proving to be the best players on the team. Love seeing Bembry in there doing his thing. Is Baze tradeable at this point... Dennis is tearing it up this month. 21 ppg 52% 3pt 43% FT 90% 7.5 ast 3 rbs
  14. There was no player this franchise had you would max out in the past 20 years except probably young Joe Johnson. Al is a nice all around player but it was time to move on.
  15. Even with a slow starting Millsap, our frontcourt duo is right up there production wise (pts. and rbs) with Griffin and Jordan.
  16. How can you watch Millsap and Howard this game and complain about offensive production of all things. The team shot 50 percent and outrebounded them 45-28. Once Korver came in the light came on for the Orlando offense. I knew his +/- were going to be bad during the game but not -24 bad. How long can you go with inefficient offense from Hardaway and Bazemore. They are not even plus defenders or rebounders to help offset. The talent at SG needs an overhaul real bad.
  17. Wow, Houston dodged a big bullet. We would have probably signed Eric Gordon instead. Still time to turn it around.
  18. The team is competitive with Dwight in the lineup and falls apart once he sits. Dwight and Dennis might not be the best pick and roll combo. Since Dennis is not the best shooter, they should do pick plays with Muscala or Millsap.
  19. He love playing his 2nd rounders above everyone else.
  20. I kinda forgot the Minny pick and that should be more valuable than our next two first rounders selection wise at perhaps landing at 15-17. Well next season could be a rebuilding one so the 2018 pick should be off limits... Rudy won't get traded until the deadline so about 2/3 of the season would be over. If they trade Cousins this season, I think the young assets we possess could get it done. To the Cordy die hards, I like him too. If any prospect we have that'll emulate Manu, it'll be him. I stay like 20 mins. from the College Park arena site. I'd be fun to check him out if only they could have things ready by next season.
  21. I've come to the conclusion DB should mold his game similar to that of Shaun Livingston. Atleast until/if he can extend the range needed for 26 feet and out. The missed 3 attempts on his 3 pointers were off and barely grazed the rim. Granted it was his first game with dudes he doesn't know but those shots were all open. Otherwise, the Hawks desperately need the jack of all trade skillset he brings to the table.
  22. What is a Rudy Gay rental worth in trade assets. I'm thinking Splitter and future first. I don't want to give up our 2017 or 2018 1st rounder. The Nets 2nd rounder is also something I'd like to hold onto. Maybe something like Cordinier, Splitter, and Miami's 2018 2nd round pick. Not enough value it seems. Portland has some players they may trade like Harkless.
  23. Right now the team is the victim of 10 games in 15 days more than anything. Baze is best at SG but his handles are poor, wildly on and off with his shooting, more the latter. He's obvious pressing and I also hate he can't finish in traffic. Korver is just cooked plainly put. He can't get off and isn't comfortable shooting contested shots. Both those dudes should be bench players obviously. Bembry just has no confidence in his shot. It's a shame cause he's the 2nd/3rd best ball handler on the team and one of the better playmakers. Prince is on the fast track. He'll be a starter soon enough.
  24. So what you are really saying is to trade Korver. If you aren't implying that I might depending on the return. Only good enough two way guy at sf available to us is probably Rudy Gay. If Thabo has discovered how to harness this type of play throughout the season then he should start in front of KK.
