I could roll with a total rebuild, but what reputable coach is going to struggle with that group. Thibodeau is going crazy in Minny with all the youth and he's ready to trade much of it for vets. Who do you trust to make these franchise altering choices. Nobody in the organization is comfortable with Wilcox in that position. I'm just waiting on the the new GM and seeing how he wants to manuveur.

My original point is Howard, given the state of inefficient scorers on this team needs to be a 3rd or 4th option most games. A 3.5 option if you will. But he has terrible hands, doesn't seal his man properly, and doesn't finish well at all. I agree with Howard that allowing Muscala to finish the game over him is reprehensible. Bud is so amorous with his late 2nd round and undrafted guys, it's shameful.

I recognize Dennis is becoming a ball dominant, shoot first pg. It's not ideal, but I can roll with the punches. If he can't adapt to being a more ball movement point, it's time to get a combo guard like player to pair him up with. He needs a 2 or 3 that can take some of the ball handling duties from him regardless.

People always have an axe to grind. They brought in Dwight to help with interior defense and rebounding. They were fairly elite in those categories- 5th overall in rebounding and 2nd in points allowed in the paint. This team as constructed doesn't compliment any player, much less a Dwight Howard. Not attacking Bud, but he's known to have several teacher's pet on his team.

Howard was the 5th option from game 1 to game 88. You don't pay someone 25 million to be the 5th option. Dwight needs to lose weight cause his body is uber stiff and he labors running. I heard him say yoga wasn't for him or whatever. That should be his regimen every morning.

The team needs talent and shooting on the wings; free agency doesn't provide that. I've read Reddick is supposedly going to command 15-20 million, you can keep that sumbitch. So tangible improvements will have to made exclusively in the draft for this team. Would love to do a sign and trade Hardaway for any deal that makes sense. I like Dwight, but admit he's very limited these days. On the flip side, he avg. 13.5 ppg and 12.5 rebs on 63.5 percent in 29.5 minutes. The Hawks were 2nd overall in points given up in the paint behind Memphis. It's not his fault Dennis has developed into a shoot first pg with no other pg. That the team ranked 23rd in 3 point shooting.

Following the owner's narrative, the team is not in that bad of shape. They have to draft well this upcoming draft with picks 19 and 31. Alot of options at either pick. Nba ready, potential, size, shooters, etc. Realistically speaking, this team will be in cap hell for the next 3-4 seasons.

I don't see the prospects in this draft for 2 guards. Monk and Kennard are the clear two best pure 2s and I don't like Monk. Kennard could be a 20ppg in this system. He has many holes as Hardaway tho. I need a 2 with good handles to pair with Dennis. Honestly, I would go all potential and draft Giles 1st round and Diallo 2nd.

I was ribbing other Wiz fans to look out for "Playoff Timmy"... Now, I want to sign n trade him, and go after a veteran courtmate for Dennis. I would give a long look at Luke Kennard in the draft. Realistically, they can't afford to let Hardaway go. The market and draft for SGs is very poor. Tough decisions on Timm and Millsap.

Dwight did his thing in the 1st quarter, game 6 but they sat him down when he was giving Wash. trouble. This was the worst matchup for the Hawks and Dwight. It's unrealistic for him to go out there and help guard Wall and Beal on the perimeter. Bazemore has entered clown status in my book. I can't stand him unless he cheerleads.

I got this tape through my Youtube recommendations, but hadn't come around to posting it. This person must have found every basket Prince made his rookie season. To win this series, they may have to get him more involved. Also, dust off Thabo and put him on Wall.

Millsap, Dwight,, and Hardaway all have to level up. Morris seems to have the length and agility to neutralize alot of what Sap wants to do. Compound that with the down shooting from 3 and knee problems, it doesn't look good.

1 p.m. tip off is not good for this team. They struggle in early games.

Schröder needs to learn to how run the offense outside of the pnr. I think with a better back up he'll have more energy for defensive effort but I don't like his motor defending. He was a demon with energy as a back up. Atleast that's how I remember it. The two fringe nba backups don't apply the pressure needed. Overall, I like what he brings to the table but he has alot of bad habits.

I like Bembry alot. That slight double pump, alley oop slam was impressive. He finishes better at the rim than Prince. He has very good feet in general. Prince needs to figure a way not to finish faintly like Baze. If he learns how to absorb the contact, he'll be starter quality for sure.

He eerily looks like what Duck Butt was the last few seasons with the Hawks. They both will have monster games flashing star potential but become the decent role players they truly are. Won't give a final opinion on TP until he has a solidified role.

Talent is very low on this team. Bud (among others) made the right trade for THJ when most thought it wasn't the best move. The Teague trade was the correct move but they should have tried to get a pick beyond the horrible 2016 class. They almost got Philly to bite with Noel. They tried to lock up Alice and then would have flipped Millsap for all types of value. It's a GM by committee that goes all the way up to Ressler down to the scouts, imo. They just have to keep on drafting smart and find a breakthrough on those trades they almost got done.

Great year for 5s and 4s for where the projected pick will be. John Collins, Patton, Hartenstein, Rabb, Motley, Giles, Leaf, Adebayo, Allen. It takes time for bigs. Cousins isn't exactly gelling down their in NO and we know he's a gifted scorer.

Didn't read all posts but didn't see any mention on the draft picks in the next 2 drafts. We HAVE to hit home runs with 2017 pick circa 20 and 31. The talent there will be much better than 2016 picks 12 and 21. There's leeway with our own potential lotto 2018 pick and the Twolves pick circa 16. They have to get 3 out of the 4 right like they did with Schröder at pick no. 17 overall. Absolutely no Bebes or Paynes. Resigning THJ and flipping him with the 2018 picks could net us the star they've been looking for.

Thabo/Baze combo... How did we get to this point in life.

It makes sense for JC to sign with the Hawks. He will get plenty of pt. Dwight will get so many entry passes and lobs he wouldn't know what to do with himself... Doubt he has much left in the tank but anything is better than Delaney at this point. His best game of the season so I'll leave it at that

NBA was right after all. I just don't see how the Hawks would have the nerve to offer anything less than any combo of Dennis, Millsap, and any 1st they'd acquired. Honestly the best option is developing the rookies and draftees into good trade value down the line if there is a chance at a top level allstar player per trade. I'm hoping for a noticeable leap from the two young rooks but I ain't gonna hold my breath.
